To find journal articles, you can start by using the Discovery search on our homepage or in a specific database.

If you're using Discovery:

  1. Start from the Library's homepage
  2. Enter your key terms into the search box and click "Search."
  3. On the left side bar of your results page, you will see the option to "Limit to" and then "Scholarly (Peer Reviewed) Journals." This will limit your results to only articles published in scholarly journals.

If you're using a database:

  1.  Enter your key terms and click search
  2. Then use a sidebar navigation to select a limiter. To control for journal articles, find a section that says something like "Source Type" and you will likely see an option for Journal or Journal article. This may appear different depending on the database, but all scholarly databases will have a way for you to control for publication or source type.

If you're having trouble finding relevant journal articles, you may want to schedule a research consultation with a librarian
